PHILANTHROPIC
My first philanthropic client was Make-A-Wish Australia, when I was invited on to the Gala Board many years ago. The Board and I helped to raise an enormous amount of funds through this event to make a huge difference in so many children's lives and I was hooked. I had a relationship with them for many years after, being heavily involved in the annual Gala, as well as and assisting with other MAW promotional items, including their Annual Reports. I received a 'Silver Sponsor' Award from them for all of this work which was a very proud moment.

Since then I have done so many philanthropic projects, as I feel this is my way of supporting others who do not have design budgets, and helping them to maximise their fundraising presence for their various causes. I will always include this in my yearly plans as I have seen the huge impact it can make to assist in bringing about awareness and to establish credibility as a charity or organisation.

One of my current philanthropic ventures is a local government funded primary school, I have been helping them out with various design requirements since 2017. One of my favourite projects (that I suggested) was implementing a makeover on their very dismal Canteen area, involving all of the school children in a competition and a launch party.
Over the years I have also provided graphics for their major fundraising events such as their School Fair and Annual fundraising Gala. Another lovely experience was providing the graphics and collateral for their school production of the Wizard of Oz. So much fun to work with all of the beautiful kids!

ARCHIE'S EMBRACE

The second charity I was introduced to in recent years was 'Archie's Embrace'. Ros and Andy started this charity as their son Archie, has been profoundly effected by a very rare disease. Their mission is to help raise funds for similar cases all over the world, so that more research may be conducted in the US and potentially find a cure for this life altering disease.
Their logo and general brand colours were already established on a very basic level, however I helped develop their event branding and now work with them yearly on their major fundraiser Gala, which is growing every year thanks to the amazing Founders. This is their 3rd consecutive Gala.
